U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services (VIFEMS) held a celebratory ceremony today, Monday, July 28, 2025, to recognize a significant donation from longtime partner Pafford Medical Services. The contribution is aimed at strengthening the territory’s emergency response efforts.
Pafford Medical Services donated 15 pallets of critical emergency medical supplies, which are now stored within the territory. These materials will directly support VIFEMS in responding to emergencies across the U.S. Virgin Islands.
During the ceremony, Jamie Pafford-Gresham, CEO of Pafford Medical Services, reflected on the longstanding partnership with VIFEMS, noting that it began eight years ago and has grown into a wonderful working relationship.
Antonio Stevens, Director of VIFEMS, emphasized the value of that support, especially during times of operational difficulty.
“Pafford was an integral part of us serving the community in a time when we were unable to do so due to a number of situations,” said Stevens. “A call was made, and Pafford immediately responded, ready to help.”
Governor Albert Bryan Jr., who also attended the event, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the donation.
“Jamie-Pafford, I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart,” said Governor Bryan. “And thank you to all the men and women who contribute every day to making the Virgin Islands and our community safe.”
The event highlighted the vital role public and private partnerships play in enhancing emergency preparedness and improving service delivery throughout the territory.
