ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at approximately 5 a.m., Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services (VIFEMS) responded to reports of a structure fire at the Blackbeard’s Castle Apartments.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames, prompting all companies to respond. VIFEMS crews remain actively on scene, and the public is urged to exercise caution when traversing the area.
At this time, no injuries have been reported. Additional details will be provided as they become available and once the scene is cleared.
